Meeting of First-Year Postgraduate Students
The meeting of first-year postgraduate students was dedicated to the organization of educational and research activities for highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel at the university. Vladimir Ivanov, Rector of the Pedagogical University, Professor, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, presented the young researchers with postgraduate student ID cards and wished them successful scientific achievements. Alexander Kirillov, Head of the Department of Scientific and Innovative Work, spoke about the current dissertation council, scientific publications of the Pedagogical University and ongoing scientific and practical events. Elena Khrisanova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology and Philosophy, spoke about the peculiarities of scientific research and the organization of the educational process.

CHSPU Team Takes Part in the II All-Russian Pedagogical Hackathon ‘Teachers of the Future’
On November 21- 24, the II All-Russian Pedagogical Hackathon ‘Teachers of the Future’ was held at the Chechen State Pedagogical University. 19 teams representing higher educational institutions of Russia took part in it. The CHSPU team included Associate Professor T.V. Osokina, 4th year students of the Faculty of History, Management and Law and the Faculty of Art and Music Education - Ekaterina Abrzhina, Elena Antonova, Tatyana Kazenova and Igor Gusev. E. G. Khrisanova, Head of the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology and Philosophy, lead the team. The hackathon participants attended the following visionary lectures: ‘Education-2039’, ‘Competences of the Future. The Role of Learning in Their Development ‘, ’5 Challenges of Digital Transformation of Education: Do Schools and Universities Have a Future?’, ‘ Digital Transformation of Education: From Digitalization to Personalization, or ‘Learning is Fun!’, ‘Human Evolution’, ‘Unified System of Evaluation of the Quality of Education in the Russian Federation’ and ‘Startups in Education’.

Yakovlev University Students Became Winners of the VIII International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists
From November 19 to November 20, 2019 the delegation of Yakovlev University including the students of the Faculty of Psychology and Education took part in the VIII International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists "Psychology - the science of the future." The event was held at the Institute of Psychology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow. D. N. Chernova and Yu.V. Kulagina presented the project “The influence of the level of empathy on strategies of behavior in a conflict” within the framework of the meeting of the Social Psychology section, second-year students. According to the results of the project competition, the authoritative experts and jury members awarded them with the first prize. According to the results of the conference, the delegation of our Univerity took the second team place among 20 higher educational institutions of Russia.

CHSPU Students Joined Environmental Campaign
The students of the Chuvash State Pedagogical University joined the campaign to collect plastic bottles as part of the project “Changing the World by Thoughts”.Reception of used containers was organized after the classes. There were many people wishing to participate in the action. Students brought unnecessary containers in bags and boxes. They cleaned the bottles of labels, washed them, and then crushed them. In total, 503 bottles and 634 caps were collected. “This is an important matter, and it must be continued to preserve environmental well-being and foster responsibility for the world around us”, said Mikhail Pavlov, Head of the Educational Work Department.

Yakovlev University Students Took Awards at the International Art Competition “Propylaea of Art”
On November 23 the Faculty of Artistic Culture and Fine Arts of Kazan State Institute of Culture hosted the V Open International Exhibition-Art Competition “Propylaea of Art”.The students of the faculty of art and musical education of Yakovlev University took an active part at the competition and became the winners in the following categories: Graphics in the category Book Graphics, 1st degree diploma - Alena Gataullina (supervisor - Yaranskaya M.N.); Design in the category Art Object, 2nd degree diploma - Anastasia Smirnova (supervisor - Kuzina EA); Decorative and applied art and design in the category Wood Carving and Painting, 2nd degree diploma - Nikolay Medvedev (supervisor - Samsonov B.V.); Design in the category Corporate Identity Development, 3rd degree diploma - Kirill Gordienko (supervisor - B. CHSPU Students Become Winners of ‘National Heritage’ Folk Festival
On November 22-24, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University hosted the National Folk Festival called «National Heritage». CHSPU students of the Faculty of Arts and Musical Education became winners in the following nominations: «Folk Choir Singing», I Degree Diploma – Folk Ensemble «Yurai» (Leader – Professor Kozlova Z.A., Concertmaster – Kirillov E.V.); «Solo Singing», I Degree Diploma – Natalya Timofeeva (Leader – Professor Kozlova Z.A., Concertmaster – Kirillov E.V.); «Graphic Design», I Degree Diploma – Tatyana Ageeva (Leader – Solovyova N.N.); «Applied and decorative Arts», III Degree Diploma – Yekaterina Dudysheva (Leader – Rodionova N.V.); «Applied and decorative Arts», III Degree Diploma – Anastasiya Tepelina (Leader – Samsonov B.V.); «Graphic Design», III Degree Diploma – Olga Shibaeva (leader – Rodionova N.V.). This traditional festival aims to imbue young people with love for their native land, to instill an interest in the unique culture of the indigenous peoples of the Volga Region and their traditions.

CHSPU Students Become Russian Sambo Cup Champions
On November 19-23, the Russian Sambo Cup was held in the town of Kstovo, Nizhniy Novgorod Region. The competition was held in the multifunctional hall of the International Olympic Sports Academy. The students of the Faculty of Physical education of I. Total Dictation in Foreign Languages at Yakovlev University
On Doors Open Days at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Yakovlev University held the Total Dictation in Foreign Languages. The purpose of the event is to draw students’ attention to literacy in a foreign language (English, German, French), to motivate them to learn foreign languages and a foreign language culture through the samples of authentic fine literature, and to demonstrate them the conditions of studying at Yakovlev University. The seventh- and eighth-graders, as well as the ninth-, tenth-, and eleventh-graders (which is over 500 pupils) took part in the event. The partners of ChSPU in the organization of the Total Dictation in Foreign Languages were FLS “Language for Success” and “Center for Education Monitoring and Development” in Cheboksary.

ChSPU Students Won the “Chuvashia Through the Eyes of Foreign Students”
The have been summarized the results of the Republican competition “Chuvashia Through the Eyes of Foreign Students”. Foreign students submitted art and documentary photographs to take part in this competition. CHSPU Teams Succeed in the Intellectual Games Season 2019-2020
The season of intellectual games for the 2019-2020 academic year for students continues. On November 18, the third game of a series of tournaments held under the auspices of the "League of Cities" took place. The tournament was attended by 18 student teams representing 10 educational institutions of the Chuvash Republic: ChSU named after I.N. Ulyanov, ChSPU named after I. Yakovlev, Cheboksary Cooperative Institute, Cheboksary Institute of Moscow State University of Economics, Cheboksary Institute of MPU, Cheboksary Branch of RANEPA, Cheboksary Professional College named after N.V. Nikolsky, Cheboksary College of Food Technology and Commerce, Cheboksary College of Economics and Technology, Kanash Transport and Energy College. CHSPU Students Participate in the NEO - Crafts Youth Forum
On November 16, the NEO - Crafts youth forum was held in the framework of the IV St. Petersburg International Craft Congress, one of the most important events of the business program of the VIII St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum. The students of the Technological and Economic Faculty of ChSPU named after I. Yakovlev Anastasia Petrova and Kristina Bychkova represented the Salampi team (leader - associate professor S.V. Pavlova). The team was invited to the forum as a finalist of the Save Russian Soul international competition. The competition was held online from September 23 to October 31 in the nominations: “Design of clothes”, “Design of an interior item”, “Design of jewelry”, “Visual art, photography and cinema”. In the nomination "Visual Art, Photography and Cinema" students of ChSPU named after I. Yakovlev presented a video clip and a series of photos "Pagan Chuvashia."

Second Graders at the Museum of Maternal Glory
As part of the celebration of Mother's Day, students of the 2nd grade of Secondary School No. 29 in Cheboksary visited the Museum of Maternal Glory of the Chuvash State Pedagogical University named after I. Yakovlev.The Museum of Maternal Glory was opened in 1983 by students and the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Primary Education, Honored Worker of Culture of the Chuvash Republic Dmitry Egorov. This is the first museum in Russia dedicated to the mother. The main goal of the museum is to educate students on the example of the life and work of glorious women of our motherland and heroine mothers whose names make up the pride and greatness of the nation. The head of the museum, Natalya Malkova, told the students about this, reminding the children that the main purpose of the Mother's Day holiday is to maintain the tradition of caring for the most important person in our life.

ChSPU Student Ekaterina Silerova Got 1st Degree Diploma of the XVII All-Russian Youth Competition of Research and Creative Works
Ekaterina Silerova, 4-year student of the faculty of Chuvash and Russian philology at ChSPU named after I. Yakovlev became a first-degree diploma holder and a holder of the medal for the best scientific student work following the final round of the 17th All-Russian Youth Competition for Research and Creative Works of the UNECO-2019 All-Russian Youth Forum on Cultural Heritage, Ecology and Life Safety. From November 13 to November 15, 2019, young scientists from all over Russia who passed the competitive selection in the correspondence round had the opportunity to present the results of their scientific work at the site of the All-Russian public organization "National System for the Development of Scientific, Creative and Innovative Activities of Russian Youth at the Federal State Budgetary Institution"DDO "Nepetsino" established by the Russian Federation Presidential Office.

ChSPU Graduate Olesya Krasnova is Winner of the All-Russian Master Class of Native Language Teachers
From November 12 to 15, the final stage of the All-Russian master class of native language teachers - 2019 was held in Moscow.During the competitive tests, the participants presented a lesson with methodological comments and demonstrated a national costume. The winner of the master class was Olesya Krasnova, a teacher of "Fidgets" kindergarten No. 203 in Cheboksary, a graduate of the faculty of Russian philology of ChSPU named after I. Yakovlev. The teacher was awarded a winner’s diploma at the Federation Council. The event was organized by the Association of Native Language Teachers and the Research Center for National Education Problems of the Federal Institute for the Development of Education of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (FIDE RANEPA).

ChSPU Student Club is the Third in “Creative Club of the Year” Nomination of the National Award “Student of the Year – 2019”
On November 14-18, the final stage of the Russian National Award “Student of the Year – 2019” was held in Rostov-on-Don. In 14 award categories, 21 individual participants and 21 student associations became laureates. ChSPU Student Club was the third in “Creative Club of the Year” Nomination. Dilyara Vakhitova, Natalia Rakhmanova, Anastasia Trofimova represented Yakovlev University. In total, 600 students from 55 subjects of the Russian Federation took part in the final stage of the award. The jury of the competition tests of the finals of the award included well-known figures of science and culture, public figures, and athletes. Session of Chuvash Practicing Speech Therapists Club
On November 14, on the International Day of Speech Therapist, the Faculty of Preschool and Correctional Pedagogics and Psychology of Yakovlev University held the annual session of the Chuvash Practicing Speech Therapists Club. The meeting was presided by Andrey Petrovich Matryonin, graduate of the faculty, speech therapist, aphasiologist, speech technical trainer. Lyubov Nikolaevna Antipova, mid-tier manager in the field of medical optics, massage therapist and hirudotherapist, specialist in kinesiotherapy, held a master class “Kinesiotherapy in Speech Therapy and Medical and Preventive Work”. She drew particular attention to the use of tapes in speech therapy practice to normalize the muscle tone of the articulation apparatus, and to improve speech.

55th Anniversary of Music and Pedagogics Faculty
On November 8, I. Yakovlev celebrated the 55th anniversary of Faculty of Arts and Music Education. The celebration brought together the retired pedagogical workers, students, teachers, and graduates of Music and Pedagogics Faculty. Svetlana Viktorovna Ilyina, Prorector for Academic Affairs, gave a welcome speech: “55 years is quite a period. During that period, the faculty teaching staff have developed the traditions that our graduatesspread throughout the world. Today, the Faculty of Music and Pedagogics is the center for the development of musical culture, methodological support, and it is also the center for music education. But, first of all, the faculty is its people, who 55 years ago decided to organize the faculty, and throughout its history have supported the material and technical, and personnel base. These are outstanding contemporary musicians, whose work determined the development of the musical culture of the ChuvashRepublic over the past 50 years. These are the people who came to the faculty 55 years ago and still remain faithful to their music and teaching profession, because there are no former musicians and there are no former teachers. ”

Vera Lotkova was Awarded the Title "Master of Sports of Russia of International Class"
On November 7, 2019, the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Pavel Kolobkov signed an order to award the sports title “Master of Sports of Russia of International Class”. Vera Lotkova, a student of the sports school of the Olympic Reserve No. 10, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Physical Culture of I. Yakovlev ChSPU was awarded the honorary title. Vera Lotkova is a winner of the IV European Sambo Cup (Czech Republic), winner of the European Sambo Championship (Spain), winner of the Russian Youth Championship (Nizhny Novgorod Region), winner of the All-Russian student competition "Energy of Movement" (Moscow), winner of the International Tournament "President’s Cup Republic of Tatarstan ”, bronze medalist of the International Sambo Tournament (Nizhny Novgorod Region), etc. Congratulations to Vera Lotkova and her coach, Honored Coach of Chuvashia Sergey Pegasov, with the honorary title.

Teachers of the Chuvash Republic Discussed Innovations in Education
Globalization and cooperation are the main trends of modern world education. The role of the modern teacher is the mentor and organizer of the educational environment, which should teach the child to be ready to answer the challenges of the development of the world community in the future. November 7-8 ChSPU hosted the All-Russian Forum “Educators of Russia: Innovations in Education”. Within the framework of the forum, lectures and master classes were held on the most relevant topics on the organization of the educational process. The program of each day consisted of a plenary session and five working sections. In total, more than 20 seminars were held within the framework of the Forum. Practical lecturers worked in the business program, they not only shared their experience, but also taught how to prepare projects for implementation in educational organizations. On the first day of the Forum, preschool teachers were invited. Classes were held with the participants on the problems of working with children with disabilities, the development of creativity among preschoolers, the TRIZ library, etc.

The VI Regional Olympiad in Biology was held at CHSPU
November 9 at the Faculty of Natural Science Education, as part of the Open Doors Day, hosted the VI Regional Olympiad in Biology among students of general and professional educational organizations. 248 students of grades 10-11 and students of professional educational organizations became participants in the Olympiad. The students visited the zoological museum, got acquainted with the scientific schools of the faculty and modern equipment for conducting biological and medical experiments. The winners of the Olympics received diplomas and commemorative prizes, participants received certificates. The results of participation in the Olympiad will be taken into account when entering the profile faculty of I. Yakovlev ChSPU. The winners and participants of the Olympiad will have the right to accrue additional points to the total points of the exam when entering the university: 3 points are awarded to winners, 1 point to participants.
