Exchange Students from Guizhou Normal University (China) Have Been Awarded Certificates of Accomplishment at CHSPU

On June 28, the exchange students from Guizhou Normal University (China) were awarded official certificates of accomplishment that certify that the students have completed an academic course at I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University. Nine students from the People's Republic of China have been studying at the Faculty of Chuvash and Russian Philology from October 2018 to June 2019 and completed the program “Russian as a Foreign Language”. This is the second group of students from the Middle Kingdom, who came to the pedagogical university.
During the academic year, the girls studied the Russian language, Russian literature and social studies, and also got acquainted with the rich culture of the Chuvash people.
Svetlana Ilyina, Academic Vice-President, presented the students with the certificates of completion of the Russian speech practice course. In addition to the certificates, the students from China were awarded certificates of appreciation for their active participation in the university life, as well as memorable gifts.
Tatyana Denisova, Dean of the Faculty of the Chuvash and Russian Philology, Elena Sukhova, Director of the Center for Chinese Language and Culture of CHSPU, Tatyana Yurkina, head of the program, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor, and Ma Isya, teacher of Chinese, postgraduate student of CHSPU, expressed their gratitude to both the students and teachers for hard work, a friendly atmosphere in class and cooperation.
The students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, who have made good friends with the students from China, had their say, too. It was a very warm, heart-touching and teary farewell ceremony for the Chinese students, their Russian friends and teachers.
