I.Yakovlev University Team among Top Five Leaders of Athletics Championship of Russian Student Sports Union

June 26-29 the Athletics Championship of the Russian Student Sports Union took place in Yaroslavl. The team of the Chuvash State Pedagogical University won 6 medals:
1st place - Sergey Morozov, high jump,
2nd place - Timofey Eginov, 5,000 meters,
2nd place - Ksenia Tukhtareva, 800 meters,
2nd place - 4X400 mixed relay (K. Tuhtareva, A. Dormidontov, K. Yakovlev, K. Orlov),
3rd place - Elizaveta Osharina, high jump,
3rd place - Konstantin Orlov, 400 meters.
The rivals of the team of the pedagogical university in the first group were another 20 teams representing Russian universities. According to the results of all tests, the CHSPU team took the fifth team place scoring 308 points.
The five leaders are:
1. Volga Academy of Physical Culture and Sports (Kazan) - 494 points.
2. Penza State University - 449 points.
3. Russian State University of Physical Education, Sports, Youth and Tourism (Moscow) - 448 points.
4. Ural State University of Physical Culture (Chelyabinsk) - 401 points.
5. Chuvash State Pedagogical University - 308 points.
