Yakovlev University Students Volunteer at Tavrida-ART Festival

On August 20, the first festival of creative communities of Russia – Tavrida-ART – started in Crimea. For the first time, the festival brought together 5,000 creative people: architects and urbanists, designers and artists, representatives of folk art and street art, actors and directors, poets and rappers, comedians and scriptwriters, sculptors, as well as lovers of various areas of culture and art. About 30 thousand spectators came to see their work.
More than 500 volunteers help them organize their creative work. Among them are the students of CHSPU. Dilyara Vakhitova, a student of the Faculty of Art and Music Education, is a team leader of the care for the participants of the festival, Valeria Egorova, a student of the Faculty of Preschool and Correctional Pedagogy and Psychology, is a volunteer at DOBRO Quarter.
Festival participants enjoy daily castings and a grant competition for creative projects, meet with like-minded people, exchanged ideas, take part in creative collaborations and the creation of collective art manifests. The festival has 8 unique “art quarters” that differ in the types of art in which young artists live.
A concert program was prepared for the audience with the participation of leading Russian and world artists, a variety of daytime activities, a festival of festivals, a light show, fireworks and many more.
The festival runs until August 26th.
