ChSPU Students Took Part in the VI Regional Convention of Search Teams “Nobody is Forgotten”


ChSPU Students Took Part in the VI Regional Convention of Search Teams “Nobody is Forgotten”From the 3rd to the 5th of October in Kirov the 6th regional convention of search units of the Volga Federal District “Nobody is Forgotten” took place.
The regional convention brought together 14 teams from different regions of the Volga Federal District. The delegation of the Chuvash Republic in the rally included Yakovlev University students Irina Arkhipova, Dilyara Vakhitova, Sergey Sergeev.
The teams took part in competitive trials related to search activities. They demonstrated their knowledge of topography and orienteering, archival search and first aid skills. The teams also tested their strength in the military-historical and search quiz. After passing the competitive tests, an exposition was organized at which the guests of the convention presented the exhibits of the Great Patriotic War, found during the 2019 field search season.
According to the results of the festival, the team of the Chuvash Republic took 7th place. Chuvashia’s search teams took 2nd place in the nomination “Exposition based on the results of the field search season”.
Nikolay Myasnikov, the leader of Pamyat search unit of our university, was awarded the 3rd place in the nomination “Contribution”.
The 4th year student of the Faculty of History, Management and Law, a member of the Pamyat search unit Irina Arkhipova was awarded an honorary diploma by the State Duma of the Russian Federation Ildar Bikbaev.
The 1st place in the team event was taken by the search unit from the Penza region, the 2nd place went to the search units of the Saratov region, and the 3rd place went to representatives of the Republic of Mordovia.
