Professor L.V. Kuznetsova was awarded Gennady Nikandrovich Volkov Badge “For Achievement in Pedagogics”

The Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of the Chuvash Republic praised the merits of Lyudmila Vasilyevna Kuznetsova, Doctor of Pedagogics, Professor, Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation, Founder of Scientific Pedagogical School “Ethnoculture in Modern Education System”. She was awarded the Gennady Nikandrovich Volkov badge “For Achievement in Pedagogics”. The corresponding order was signed by Minister Sergey Kudryashov on October 2, 2019 (order No. 01-nz). Lyudmila Vasilyevna is the first scientist who has been awarded this honor.
For many years Lyudmila Vasilyevna Kuznetsova has been the head of the Research Institute of Ethnopedagogics n. a. Academician of the Russian Academy of Education G. N. Volkov at I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University. She made a significant contribution to the development of the theory and practice of ethnopedagogical education of the Chuvash Republic, to the development of ethnocultural approach in pedagogics, and to the scientific and methodological support of the ethnocultural education process.
V. N. Ivanov, President of the Chuvash State Pedagogical University, Professor, suggested that Professor Kuznetsova should be awarded this honor, and the Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of the Chuvash Republic approved of this proposal.
The award was aimed to encourage people who have made a significant contribution to the development of theory and history of pedagogical and ethnopedagogical sciences, of ethnocultural approach in pedagogics, improvement of methods of teaching and upbringing of younger generations, cultural and moral development of the individual, development of textbooks and teaching aids, teaching materials, in the scientific and methodological support of ethnopedagogics. The medal is named after Gennady Nikandrovich Volkov, the founder of ethnopedagogical science, Doctor of Pedagogics, Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education, Honorary Citizen of the Chuvash Republic.
