The Red Square has been the center of the city's economic and craft life for many centuries. It was also the place for shopping stalls and houses of wealthy merchants, as well as the cemetery where famous citizens were buried.
The excavation on the Red Square occupies the area of 120 square meters. The archaeologists are sure that it is quite possible to find something unique and great. The anthropologist from Kazan was also invited to carry out a more complete and detailed study of the found human remains.
