Five students of I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University have undertaken an internship in the People's Republic of China in the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the ChSPU and the Guizhou Normal University. They study Chinese at the Guizhou Normal University (Guiyang).
Denis Mikhailov, Faculty of History, Management and Law:
“This is my second trip to China this year. At first I was in Beijing at the International Camp, its work program was focused on mastering the Chinese language. In addition to classes, we had an extensive excursion program, during which we were able to visit the landmarks of the Heavenly Empire, such as the Great Wall of China, the Summer Palace, the Tiananmen Square and others.
A little over a month ago, I arrived for an internship at the Guizhou Normal University. The educational process in the middle group includes general Chinese, writing, reading, listening to spoken Chinese. We also have music and wushu classes.
Foreign students are provided with large single rooms. On the campus there are many cafes and cafeterias, green spaces and places to relax. The weather is very good, now in Guiyang the temperature is +23-25.
The teachers give us a lot of homework. In my free time I try to practice my Chinese with native speakers as much as possible, to walk around the city.
