CHSPU Students Become Winners of ‘National Heritage’ Folk FestivalOn November 22-24, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University hosted the National Folk Festival called «National Heritage». CHSPU students of the Faculty of Arts and Musical Education became winners in the following nominations:
«Folk Choir Singing», I Degree Diploma – Folk Ensemble «Yurai» (Leader – Professor Kozlova Z.A., Concertmaster – Kirillov E.V.);
«Solo Singing», I Degree Diploma – Natalya Timofeeva (Leader – Professor Kozlova Z.A., Concertmaster – Kirillov E.V.);
«Graphic Design», I Degree Diploma – Tatyana Ageeva (Leader – Solovyova N.N.);
«Applied and decorative Arts», III Degree Diploma – Yekaterina Dudysheva (Leader – Rodionova N.V.);
«Applied and decorative Arts», III Degree Diploma – Anastasiya Tepelina (Leader – Samsonov B.V.);
«Graphic Design», III Degree Diploma – Olga Shibaeva (leader – Rodionova N.V.).
This traditional festival aims to imbue young people with love for their native land, to instill an interest in the unique culture of the indigenous peoples of the Volga Region and their traditions. The festival seeks to preserve and develop national cultures and languages, to popularize the arts and crafts of the inhabitants of the Volga Region, to improve inter-faith and inter-ethnic relations and promote people’s friendship.
