On September 3, a ceremony was held on the occasion of laying the foundation and the beginning of the construction of a new housing complex in our city.
This project has an important social role: some of the apartments will be part of the “Teacher’s House” program.
The event was attended by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Chuvash Republic Alexey Grishchenko, Minister of Justice and Property Relations Natalya Timofeeva, General Director of Specialized Developer Mortgage Corporation of the Chuvash Republic, JSC Albert Sidorkin, Rector of the Chuvash State Pedagogical University Vladimir Ivanov.
The honored guests took part in laying the foundation for the first house and, according to the old Russian tradition, threw some coins into it for the strength of the foundation of the house and the prosperity of its future residents.
As part of the project, it is planned to build a 78-apartment building with a total area of 3,520 sq.m., where some of the apartments will be sold to teachers at a special cost 38 500 rubles for 1 sq.m. (the commercial selling price is 45 thousand rubles). To participate in the program, one must provide an extract from the order of the Chuvash State Pedagogical University, certified by the personnel department and a copy of the work record book.
This project is being implemented on behalf of the Head of the Chuvash Republic M.V. Ignatiev and aims to increase the affordability of housing for certain categories of citizens.
“Today, a number of national projects are being implemented, including the national project of Housing and Urban Environment, aimed at improving the living conditions of citizens. It is gratifying that thanks to the implementation of this project, the number of residents who have improved their living conditions in new homes will increase, ”emphasized Alexey Grishchenko.
Note that in 2017, the Government of the republic made a fundamental decision to transfer these land plots and objects located on them to the authorized capital of the Mortgage Corporation. “This is also a form of privatization of state property, but at the same time we plan to get a social effect from its implementation,” said Natalya Timofeeva.
She also noted that when implementing this project, they took into account the need to preserve a previously located socially significant object in this section, a kindergarten. In the first position of the housing complex on the first or second floor there will be a kindergarten for 60 children.
The construction of a kindergarten is expected in the framework of the implementation of the State Program of the Russian Federation “Development of Education” to create additional places in preschool education organizations in the city of Cheboksary for children aged from two months to three years.
The construction of Gastello housing complex is carried out within the framework of the current legislation using escrow accounts.
The first participant in shared construction in this position was an employee of the Chuvash State Pedagogical University, who purchased an apartment at a reduced price in the framework of the Teacher’s Home program.
The owners of the flats will be able to move in next year.
