«Детективы прошлого» в поисках артефактов двухтысячелетней давности
Участников полевой археологической школы «Детективы прошлого», которая проходит в эти дни на месте Третьевурманкасинского городища эпохи раннего железного века (1-2 вв. н.э). посетили министр образования Чувашской Республики Дмитрий Захаров и Глава Цивильского муниципального округа Алексей Иванов. Гости побывали на месте раскопок и палаточном лагере юных археологов, познакомились с найденными артефактами, угостились походным чаем и побеседовали со школьниками – участниками проекта. «Здесь, на месте древнего городища, работу проводят не только маститые ученые, которые приехали к нам из различных субъектов – из Казани, Москвы, других городов, но также наши студенты и, самое главное, наши школьники...
Очередную партию гуманитарной помощи отправил в зону СВО Чувашский государственный педагогический университет им. И.Я. Яковлева. Основное содержание этой партии – медикаменты: 8 заполненных тактических аптечек, коробки с лекарствами. Кроме того, вуз отправил 8 маскировочных сетей, сплетенных силами студентов и сотрудников Университета Яковлева, общей площадью 108 квадратных метров. Бойцам также передадут 15 лопат, средства гигиены и продукты питания.
Благодарим студентов, преподавателей, сотрудников ЧГПУ за активное участие в сборе гуманитарной помощи и работу по изготовлению маскировочных сетей.
Teachers of I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University have been on a working visit to Sri Lanka. As part of the project to promote and popularize the Russian language abroad, students of Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine continue to study the Russian language, get acquainted with Russian culture, and learn Russian songs. They say that they really enjoy the training and have already achieved a lot. The level of Russian language proficiency among foreign students directly depends on how fully they immerse themselves in the language environment. With this in mind, the teachers use a combination of all sources of information to make it more productive and interesting for Sri Lankans to learn Russian. Certainly, the solution of the tasks set for teaching Russian as a foreign language is impossible without the native language of the students, and teachers face with the practical need for translation, interpretation of the meaning of a particular Russian word or expression.
Sri Lankans are learning Russian
Teachers of I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University continue teaching the Russian language to students of Sri Lanka. Classes are conducted offline, according to the time-table. It should be noted that learning the Russian language is a rather complicated process for foreigners, since Russian speech is distinguished by its sophistication and richness of speech turns. The teachers cover all aspects of the Russian language: phonetics, vocabulary, grammar. The main attention is paid to speaking, and the teachers focus primarily on students’ communication. During the three weeks of the teachers’ work the students of Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine have learned a lot. They have got acquainted with peculiarities of the Russian language, norms of Russian pronunciation and stress, they learned to write lowercase letters of the Russian alphabet, read texts in Russian, make up dialogues and have already begun to understand Russian speech. Teachers of I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University use country studies material in their work, they introduce students to the traditions of the multinational country. Students immerse themselves in the world of the Russian language with great pleasure.
Russian Culture Festival in the Center for Open Education in the Russian Language
On July 31, 2023 Russian Culture Festival was held in the Center for Open Education in the Russian Language at Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine that started its work on July 17. More than 40 students participated in the event. They presented their national dishes and took part in an exhibition-tasting of Russian dishes. I. Yakovlev University teachers, in their turn, also demonstrated their culinary skills and prepared Russian national dish (pancakes). They spoke about the significance that this dish has for the Russian culture. At the end of the event, all festival participants attended a video tour of the memorable places of our country prepared by the students of the Faculty of History, Philology, Management and Law of I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University and got acquainted with the main national holidays of Russia.
Open Education Center in the Russian language in Sri Lanka opened its doors
On July 31, the official opening of the Center for Open Education in the Russian language of the I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University (the training courses at the Center have been implemented since July 17). The event, which took place in a mixed format, began with the traditional ritual of lighting of lamp, which guarantees the success of the work begun. The opening ceremony of the Center was attended by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Republic of Maldives Levan Dzhagaryan. He noted that the Center for Open Education in the Russian language is a visible result of the joint work and close cooperation of both countries, which must be multiplied by continuing this work in other educational institutions of Sri Lanka. Addressing the students, Levan Dzhagaryan expressed hope that during his next visit to the Center, he would be understood by the audience if he delivered his speech in Russian. The participants of the event were welcomed by the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation, Professor Janitha A. Liyanage. She sincerely thanked the Russian Federation for the opportunity to implement a project in Sri Lanka to promote the Russian language, noting its importance for both countries. A video greeting of the acting rector of I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University Vladimir Ivanov was presented. He expressed gratitude to the ambassadors of both countries for the attention paid by diplomatic missions to the process of studying the Russian language and culture in Sri Lanka. Words of gratitude were also addressed to the authorities of Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine. Vladimir Ivanov noted that during the time of the joint work, the universities have become real partners, and this guarantees successful work of the Center.

Продолжается работа по обучению русскому языку слушателей Республики Шри-Ланка. Преподаватели ЧГПУ им. И.Я. Яковлева ведут занятия в офлайн режиме, по расписанию. Следует отметить, что изучение русского языка – достаточно сложный для инофонов процесс, поскольку русская речь отличается своей изысканностью и богатством речевых оборотов. Преподавателями затрагиваются все разделы русской языковой системы: фонетика, лексика, грамматика. Основное внимание уделяется говорению, и работа по обучению русскому языку ориентирована, в первую очередь, на общение. За три недели пребывания преподавателей на острове студенты Университета народной медицины Гампаха Викрамараччи научились многому: они познакомились с особенностями русского языка, с нормами произношения и ударения, научились писать строчные буквы русского алфавита, читать тексты на русском языке, составлять диалоги и уже начали понимать русскую речь. Преподаватели ЧГПУ им. И.Я. Яковлева в своей работе используют страноведческий материал: знакомят студентов с традициями многонационального государства. Студенты с большим удовольствием окунулись в мир русского слова.
