CHSPU Students Take Part in "Gold of the Turks" All-Russian Forum
IV All-Russian forum of Turkic youth “Gold of Turks” began its work on August 18 in Cheboksary. More than 160 youth representatives from 14 regions of Russia interested in researching, maintaining and developing the potential of Turkic peoples and their regions of residence took part in the forum. Among them are Vasilisa Kalkina, Ekaterina Isaeva, Ekaterina Sudova, Ekaterina Temyashkina, students of the faculty of the Chuvash and Russian philology in CHSPU. The forum includes an educational program, meetings with the expert community, representatives of government, culture and business, trainings and project sessions of participants, demonstration and study of best practices in the field of research, preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of Turkic peoples, effective information and resource exchange. The forum will last until August 22.

Sergey Petrov and Vladimir Petrov, Participants of CHSPU Memory Search Unit Conquered Elbrus
Today, members of Pamyat Memory search unit Sergey Petrov and Vladimir Petrov climbed to the top of Elbrus. There were eight participants but only these two graduates of the Pedagogical University reached the final point of the expedition. The climb took place in the framework of “Sky Front 2019” military-historical festival, which takes place in the Zelenchuksky district of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. The festival is dedicated to the memory of the Red Army soldiers who died in the battles for the liberation of the Caucasus. The project was attended by more than 200 people from 20 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as Ukraine, Belarus, Germany and the Czech Republic. As part of the festival, there were search activities in the area of snow-ice fields of the Marukh glacier and passes of the Sanchar group (altitude of about 3000 m above sea level), as well as in the vicinity of the village of Khurzuk. In addition, the search unit members became participants in the reconstruction of one of the episodes of the battle for the Caucasus.

Yakovlev University Students participated in the fifth shift of the All-Russian Youth Educational Forum “Territory of Meanings”
Roman Isaev, Anna Moiseeva and Inga Egorova, Yakovlev University students, took part in the fifth shift of the “Territory of Meanings” All-Russian Youth Educational Forum. The Eco-environment-IT shift started on August 6. About 1,000 active young people are the participants of the shift. These are the specialists from leading IT companies, IT students, gamers, cyber sportsmen, bloggers, young journalists, PR and SMM specialists. The teams will have to determine the impact of the IT industry on human life and how to integrate other areas into the digital economy. The best team and individual projects will receive grant support from the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs at the end of the shift. The maximum grant amount for team projects is 3 million roubles and for individuals projects it amounts to 1 million roubles.

Veronika Chumikova Won a Silver Medal at the International Women's Freestyle Wrestling Tournament
August 2-4, Warsaw, Poland – the competitions of the Poland Open-2019 International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament were held.Veronika Chumikova, a 5th-year student of the Physical Education Faculty of I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University, won a silver medal in the weight class of up to 57 kg. An athlete from Hungary won the contest in the final match. August 6, 2019

Pamyat Searching Group Participated in the Military Historical Festival "Sky Front - 2019" in Karachay-Cherkessia
Pamyat (Memory), the searching group of Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University, went to the Zelenchuksky district of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. The military and historical festival "Sky Front - 2019" is held in the Arkhyz Gorge from July 25 to August 20. The festival is dedicated to the memory of the Red Army soldiers, who died in the battles for the liberation of the Caucasus. More than 200 people from 20 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus, Germany and the Czech Republic will take part in the project. The project includes a number of activities for finding and perpetuating the memory of the soldiers killed in the battles for the Caucasus in 1942. At the first stage, it is planned to conduct some exploratory work in the area of snow and ice fields of the Marukh Glacier and the Sanchar Passes (about 3000 m above the sea level), as well as in the vicinity of the village of Khurzuk.

I. Yakovlev University Intensifies Cooperation in the Field of Education and Science
Interregional cooperation is an important part of updating existing scientific knowledge, methods and work experience as well as acquiring new competencies and knowledge. This July the University signed cooperation agreements with the Crimean State Engineering Pedagogical University and the Chuvash State Institute of Humanities of the Education Ministry of Chuvashia. The implementation of these agreements will make it possible to solve the issues of academic mobility, to organize and conduct joint scientific, creative and educational events. One of the important areas of cooperation is the exchange of experience in teaching, research, creative and educational work of the teaching staff and the provision of counseling assistance in summarizing the experience of teachers, in compiling innovative educational programs, in preparing recommendations, scientific articles, teaching manuals and other scientific and pedagogical activities.

Students of CSPU became participants of the fourth session of All-Russian Youth Educational Forum “Territory of Meanings”
Yakovlev University students Nikita Antonov, Anna Gavrilova, Varvara Sedanova, Dmitry Koshelev, Oksana Salmina became the participants of the fourth session of the “Territory of Meanings” All-Russian Youth Educational Forum.The session named “Ecomedia – Politics” started on July 29. About 1000 enthusiastic young people (the deputies of municipal and regional authorities, representatives of the youth wings of political parties, activists, students and scientists) took part in this session. On the forum the teams are going to identify the trends in modern politics, as well as develop projects to attract the youth to this area. The best team and individual projects will receive grant support from the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. The maximum grant amount for team cases comes up to 3 million rubles, and for individual cases it is 1 million rubles.

Project “Air and Rest” was 2nd in the competition of art projects of the youth forum of the Volga Federal District “iVolga”
At the youth forum of the Volga Federal District “iVolga”, they have summed up the results of the competition of art objects, which was organized to improve the cultural and spatial image of the forum. The project “Air and Rest”, made by the second-year student of the faculty of art and music education of Yakovlev University under the supervision of the head of the department of design and vocational training methods B.V. Samsonov, took 2nd place in the competition. The art object represented the Chuvash Republic at the competition and throughout the forum was a favorite vacation spot for its participants. On July 25, in the city of Changsha (China), there was held the 6th Russian-Chinese Youth Forum in the “Volga-Yangtze” format. The Russian delegation consisted of more than 130 representatives of students of higher educational institutions of the Volga Federal District. Those were the best students, leaders of public youth movements, talented actors and athletes. The Chuvash Republic was represented by 9 people at the forum. First Health Camp Organized by Ann Chizhova Foundation Takes Place at ChSPU “Mechta” Health Center
From July 20 to July 22, the ChSPU “Mechta” Health Center hosted the first therapeutic camp in Chuvashia for children with incurable diseases and their parents.The main goal of the camp, organized by the Ann Chizhova Foundation, is to improve the interaction skills of sick children who usually communicate only with their family members. During these three days, 130 parents and 95 children became one large family, whose members are not divided into adults and children, able to speak and not, those who run and move in a wheelchair.

ChSPU Student Rina Abeyeva on the «Day of China» at the “Volga-Yangtze” Youth Form
The 6th Volga-Yangtze Russian-Chinese Youth Forum is underway in the city of Changsha (People's Republic of China). Among 130 students of higher educational institutions of the Volga Federal District, the Russian delegation includes two students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University – Rina Abeyeva and Maria Bogdanova. Rina Abeyeva about the “Day of China”: “The next day of the Volga-Yangzte Forum revealed new knowledge to the students from the delegation of the Chuvash Republic. Today was the "Day of China", during which we were able to get acquainted with the traditional culture of this beautiful country. The tea ceremony, local opera, folk musical instruments, paper cutting, Chinese knots impressed us no less than the surprisingly bright and beautiful national clothes of the Celestial Empire and its hospitable people.

ChSPU Student Ekaterina Dudysheva To Represent Chuvashia at the “iVolga” Youth Forum
In the Samara Region on Mastryukov lakes, final preparations for the opening of the “iVolga” Youth Forum of the Volga Federal District are being made. The forum will be held from July 23 to July 31. To improve the cultural and spatial appearance of the forum, a contest of art objects was organized. The project "Air and Rest" developed by Ekaterina Dudysheva, a 2-year student of the Faculty of Art and Music Education of the Yakovlev University (Supervisor - Head of the Department of Design and Vocational Training Methods B.V. Samsonov), became the winner of the regional stage of the competition. Now the "Air and Rest" art object will represent the Chuvash Republic at the forum. Currently, the object is being mounted and is ready to receive the first visitors. For reference:This year the Youth Forum of the Volga Federal District will be called “iVolga 2.0”.

University Activists Go the Seaside
This summer will be unforgettable for student activists of the I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University. Today, 20 students recommended by the faculty deans and the University Student Congress went to Adler, Krasnodar Territory, located on the Black Sea coast. For ten days they will not only be able to swim and sunbathe, but also to go on interesting excursions. We wish our students to have a good rest, gain unforgettable impressions, and to plunge into the studies and active student life of our university after they return. For reference:For more than 19 years, student activists of the Yakovlev University, who distinguished themselves in the educational, scientific, sports and creative activities of the university, are awarded a trip to the seaside. During this time, ChSPU students were able to relax in the resorts of the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Territory, in the Crimea and on the Azov Sea.

ChSPU Post Graduate Students Are Awarded Certificates of Completion
On July 18, the main building of I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University hosted a solemn ceremony at which the 2019 post-graduate students were awarded certificates of completion.Professor Vladimir Ivanov, Doctor of Pedagogical Science, President of ChSPU, inaugurated the ceremony. He wished the graduates to successfully complete the next stage – the defense of Ph.D. theses and degree conferral, and to put their scientific and creative ideas into life. The graduate students who have successfully mastered the educational programs of the tertiary stage of higher education received post graduate certificates of education with the qualification “Researcher. Rina Abeyeva on the «Day of Russia» at the “Volga-Yangtze” Youth Form
On July 18, the Day of Russia was held as part of the VI Russian-Chinese Volga-Yangtze Youth Forum. The delegation of the Chuvash Republic that included students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University Rina Abeyeva and Maria Bogdanova presented the culture of Chuvashia. Rina Abeyeva: “In Chuvash costumes we performed a folk dance and a song, told about our beautiful republic, treated our Chinese friends with traditional Chuvash dishes and exchanged gifts. At the end of the holiday we planted a tree as a symbol of friendship between young people of our countries”.

Elena Ivanova, Yakovlev University Graduate, Became Champion of Russia in Athletics among Persons with Lesions of the Musculoskeletal System
Joint competitions of athletes with lesions of the musculoskeletal system, visual impairment and intellectual disabilities are currently held at the Olympic Stadium in Cheboksary. As part of the competition, athletes with a lesion of the musculoskeletal system and visual impairment are fighting for the titles of champions of Russia, while athletes with intellectual disabilities are competing for the medals of the Russian Cup. On the first day of the competition, July 13, Elena Ivanova, three-time Paralympic champion of London, graduate of the Faculty of Physical Culture of ChSPU, won the gold medal in 100 meters.In total, 518 athletes from 50 Russia’s regions are taking part in the competition, among them there are 350 athletes with a lesion of the musculoskeletal system, 145 athletes with a visual impairment, and 23 athletes with intellectual disabilities.

Graduates of the Faculty of Art and Music Education were Awarded Diplomas
July 15, a ceremonial presentation of bachelor's diplomas to graduates of the Faculty of Art and Music Education took place at Yakovlev University. A bachelor's degree was obtained by 72 graduates of Music, Additional Education, Fine Arts, Artistic Processing of Ceramics, Decorative and Applied Arts and Design, Environmental Design profiles. 32 students graduated with honors. Irina Medvedeva, Dean of the Faculty of Art and Music Education, Olga Lukicheva, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Social Issues, faculty members and graduates' parents addressed their congratulations to the university graduates.

July 16, the opening ceremony of the VI Russian-Chinese Volga-Yangtze Youth Forum was held in Changsha (China, Hunan Province) with the participation of Wang Yun, State Councilor of the People’s Republic of China and Oleg Mashkovtsev, Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the Volga Federal District.The Russian delegation included more than 130 students from higher educational institutions of the Volga Federal District. These are top students, leaders of public youth life, talented artists and athletes. The Chuvash Republic is represented at the forum by 9 people. Among them are Rina Abeyeva and Maria Bogdanova, 2nd-year students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages from the Chuvash State pedagogical University. As part of the opening of the Russian-Chinese Youth Forum, a spectacular event took place when a special “vessel of friendship” was filled with water taken from the Volga and Yangtze rivers, which symbolizes strong long-term ties between the two countries.

July 12, a ceremonial presentation of bachelor's diplomas to graduates of the Faculty of Physical Culture took place at Yakovlev University. This academic year 43 full-time students profile graduated from the faculty of Physical Education. Among them there are 2 masters of sports of Russia in athletics, members of the national team of the university in football, athletics, swimming, sambo, freestyle wrestling, volleyball. 8 students graduated with honors. Bachelor's diplomas were awarded to 17 students who came to study from Turkmenistan. Yakovlev University Students Took Part in the Second Shift of Territory of Meanings All-Russian Youth Educational Forum
ChSPU students Dilyara Vakhitova, Irina Arkhipova, Ekaterina Akreeva and undergraduate Dmitry Krysin participated in the second shift of the Territory of Meanings All-Russian Youth Educational Forum.The Ecological Environment and Education shift will take place from July 13 to July 19 at the site of the Senezh Management Workshop. The education system, like any other, is subject to change. Modern trends and the development of technology affect higher education, some universities prefer to follow them, some do not. Students are beginning to doubt whether it is necessary to preserve the system in its current form. Shift participants will have to formulate trends in the higher education system, as well as offer their ideas on its modernization. The speakers of the educational platform will be representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, leaders of non-governmental organizations, professors of top Russian universities and bloggers.
